Connect the NODEMCU module to the PC with USB cable

  1. Download ON-OFF ESP-Programmer: Win-32 or Win-64 and run it.
  2. Select the COM PORT.
  3. Click Flash.
  4. On a non NODEMCU modules, make sure GPIO0 is grounded & reboot
  5. Wait for the programming process to finish.

ON-OFF ESP-Programmer is a derivative of the NODEMCU ESP-Programmer project.

Setup software




  1. Download & Install ON-OFF Setup.
  2. Run ON-OFF Setup.
  3. If you have problem running, please install also Microsoft Add-on.

Initial screen






Site

Site can be your home, your office or any other installation of ON-OFF system.

  1. Click 'New Site' button.
  2. Fill in the fields of new site.
  3. Click 'Check Availability'.
  4. If site name is available, 'Create Site' will become clickable.
  5. Click 'Create Site'.
  6. A massage of conformation is showed.
  7. Check your email & Activate the site, by clicking the link in your email.



Login to your SITE

  1. Enter your Site name.
  2. Enter your Admin password.
  3. Click 'Login'.

Your Site Data structure will be shown on the left tree.



Connect Controller to Local WiFi network


1.Switch to AP


2.Look in Routers list


3.Connect to AP


4.Register Module

Click user button for
at list 5 seconds.
In non NODEMCU ground GPIO0.
Module is now AP
(Access Point/Router).
In Computer routers list
look for AP. Name should
be 'ONOFF-XX' (XX is number).
If not found repeat
5 second click.
Connect Computer WiFi to AP.
In 'SETUP' software:
Click 'WiFi Connect' button.
Fill in your Home Router
name & password.
Click 'Register'.
Your computer will
reconnect to router.
Module is now also
connected to router.

Scan

  1. In SETUP software click 'Scan'.
  2. Wait for module to appear in left tree.
  3. It can take up to 2 minutes to see all modules in left tree.

Setup module

Name & ID Connectivity Active Devices
Set 'name' to module.
ID, is the unique id of the module.
if ID is XX000000 (ends with six zero),
New ID will be set on 'Update'.
Set module network IP,
automatically (DHCP/recommended),
or manually (advanced).
Active-Low, when ON is low.
Active-Hi, when ON is hi.
Switch when ON act as OFF.
There can be up to 8 Hardware devices,
